We’re excited to welcome the newest members of the Gracewood community – Kaycee and Nathan! Recently, we had the pleasure of sitting down with them to learn more about their journey to Gracewood, and what led them to choose this charming part of Mallala to call home.
Why did you choose Gracewood?
We spent a lot of time exploring different estates and speaking with various land sales consultants. But the moment we connected with Mohammed, we knew Gracewood was the right choice. He was incredibly attentive and responsive, and it felt like he genuinely cared about helping us find the right fit.
The vision for Gracewood is beautiful – it’s the perfect place to start a family. The blocks are affordable and spacious, and we love the peaceful, country feel of Mallala. Plus, we made sure to check out the local pub, which helped seal the deal!
What attracted you to Lot 604?
We feel like Lot 604 is just the right size for us as first home buyers. It’s the perfect space for the two of us, with plenty of room to grow. We were determined to be the first ones to register for this lot, and we’re thrilled we made it happen!
How did you find the experience as first home buyers?
Honestly, it was more exciting than stressful. Compared to other places we looked at, the registration process at Gracewood was smooth, straightforward, and felt fair. Mohammed guided us through every step and stayed in contact throughout – it made a huge difference.
Were any government incentives helpful in the process?
Absolutely! We’re making use of the First Home Owner Grant and the stamp duty exemption. These incentives played a huge role in making the purchase financially possible for us. Without them, we probably would’ve had to wait a few more years to even start thinking about property.
Tell us a little about yourselves – any interesting hobbies or fun facts?
We’re both avid gamers and love playing co-op games together. Kaycee is really crafty – she enjoys painting and making things in her spare time. Nathan spends most of his downtime tinkering with his computer or hanging out with our pets.
What do you do for work?
We both work in the defence industry and enjoy knowing that we’re contributing to safeguarding Australia’s national interests. Kaycee especially enjoys staying on top of upcoming projects and thrives in an ever-evolving environment. Nathan enjoys the depth of his work and the opportunity to tackle key issues that make a difference.
What’s a must-have in your new home?
We definitely have different priorities! For Nathan, it’s a dedicated gaming room, and for me, it’s all about the butler’s pantry – obviously the most important room in the house!
What proposed amenities at Gracewood are you most excited for?
Definitely all the proposed open green spaces – they’ll be perfect for spending time outdoors with our animals. We’re also really looking forward to using the proposed BBQ facilities for family breakfasts and weekend catchups. It’s little things like that that make a place feel like home.
